Снощи се сблъсках за 1st time с Asus EEE. Наложи се да му слагаме ХР и се оказа че не е толкова проста задача. С помоща на UnLimited и направената от него флаш памет с инсталация на уиндоус, успяхме да се справим. Няма да изпадам в подробности как протича инсталацията но ако го правиш за първи път наистина ще се сблъскате с куп глупави проблеми. Ако пропуснем тази част то мога да кажа само че тези ЕЕЕ-та къртят гардероби отвсякъде. Бозата върви без да се замисля и то като се има в предвит че процесора на този мъник е “downclock”-нат на 600MHz, а той реално и фабрично е на 900. Някъде мернах че имало бета версия на биоса за ЕЕЕ и че в нея била добавена възможност да буташ FSB-то от него. Общо взето като пропуснем момента със 7″-овия монитор висчко останало е перфектно. Доволен съм от ЕЕЕ.

AMI (American Megatrends International) BIOS Beep Codes.
AMI BIOS uses beeps of the same length and pitch. The error is displayed as a number of beeps. For example, 4 beeps indicated a timer failure.

Award BIOS Beep Codes
Award BIOS uses beeps of varying duration. A long beep will typically last for 2 seconds while a short beep will last only 1 second. Award BIOS also uses beeps of different frequency to indicate critical errors. If an Award BIOS detects that the CPU is overheating it may play a high pitched repeating beep while the computer is running.
